– 愛と欲望の王宮 –
NHK BSプレミアム 毎週水曜 午後11時15分
「実在したスコットランド女王・メアリー・スチュアートの恋と運命を、壮大なスケールと現代的なアレンジで描いた宮廷ドラマ。
16世紀。スコットランドはイングランドによる侵略に脅かされていた。そうした中、幼くしてスコットランドの女王に即位したメアリーは、祖国を守るため、フランスの王太子と婚約することになる。
王宮に向かったメアリーを待っていたのは、王太子フランソワと彼の異母兄バッシュ。魅力的な2人の間で揺れ動くメアリー…。
一方、フランソワの母親である王妃カトリーヌは占星術師のノストラダムスから「メアリーとの結婚でフランソワは命を落とす」との予言を受け、二人の婚約をなきものにしようと画策する。」
